The first grading period is certainly flying by quickly!   Your children and their teachers have been very busy setting the stage for a rich year of learning. By now, building and classroom procedures are well-ingrained, and students are deep into the literacy, math, science, and social studies content they will learn this year.  

We continue to be committed to the Mission Statement of "Every Student, Every Lesson, Every Day". Our teachers will do this by teaching students grade level standards, as well as providing targeted instruction based on each child's need. We will also continue to teach our students about self efficacy and perseverance when attacking a challenging task. 

A huge shout-out to our amazing PTO for their work in providing such a wonderful Madison Elementary School Carnival. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we were able to have it outside.   We are always looking for volunteers for this fun event, as well as others.  If you are interested in volunteering at an event please let your child's teacher know.
