The Groveport Madison Schools Office of Diversity, Engagement, and Human Capital is responsible for hiring all certificated and classified personnel in the district and keeping all employee personnel records.
The Director of Diversity, Engagement, and Human Capital oversees the recruitment and selection process for all licensure areas, including teachers and administrators. Teaching applicants undergo a screening process, and candidates are selected to interview with the building administrator. The Department also oversees all areas of licensure and the highly qualified teacher requirements. The Director of Diversity, Engagement, and Human Capital co-chairs the Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) and oversees Individual Professional Development Plans (IPDPs) to ensure staff meets all licensure requirements.
The Department is also responsible for recruiting and hiring all classified personnel, including educational aides, custodians, secretaries, cooks, and maintenance people. The director screens applicants, and candidates are sent to the building administrator for the final selection process.
