UPDATE: College Credit Plus Saves Students Time and Money
The parent meeting to learn more about College Credit Plus has been rescheduled to Thursday, February 26. It will be held from 6-7:00 PM at the high school.     Ohio’s new College Credit Plus (CCP) program is an exciting opportunity to assist students in becoming college and career ready. Beginning next school year, students in grades 7-12 will have the ability to explore college-level courses before graduating high school. Students enrolled in CCP courses will receive both high school and college credit upon completion at no cost to the students.  
New PARCC Testing to be Administered Online
Students in grades 4-9 will be taking the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness College Careers (PARCC) tests in English Language Arts and math during the district’s testing window beginning February 23 through March 20, 2015. Third-graders will be taking the mathematics section of PARCC and will continue to take the Ohio Achievement Assessment (OAA) for reading. 
Groveport Madison High School Receives Advanced Placement Grant
Groveport Madison High School was recently awarded a $2,500 Advanced Placement (AP) grant from the Ohio Department of Education (ODE). Grant money will be used to send high school advanced placement teachers to summer workshops focused on professional development.
