Announcing Ohio's New Graduation Requirements
Superintendent of Public Instruction, Richard A. Ross, has announced Ohio's New Graduation requirements starting with the class of 2018. Read the graphic posted on ODE's website to learn more about educational changes for our students. 
Student Prepares for Carnegie Hall Performance
GM High School junior, Simmeon Perry is planning to travel this summer. Simmeon is part of the All-Star Brass and Percussion band preparing to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City on June 17. Simmeon, playing the cornet, will be appearing with other youth ensembles from Germany, Thailand, and California in Carnegie Hall’s inaugural “Sounds of Summer” International Music Festival. 
Helping Fight Childhood Cancer Goal of GMHS
The high school’s National Honor Society is on a mission to help the fight against childhood cancer. Fundraising efforts planned this spring are focused on raising money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. 
Announcing Our 2014 Valedictorians!
We are proud to announce the six valedictorians from this year’s gradating class. The six students are shining representatives of their class and have worked diligently in both their academic, as well as their extra curricular careers at Groveport Madison High School.

DECA Students Top in the State
The DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) team, consisting of Groveport Madison and Eastland Career Center students, has had a very successful year. They were top in the state in multiple events and will send three teams on to a national competition in Atlanta, Georgia in May.
