Hello, Cruiser Families!
This has been a very eventful year. The ending of this school year was complicated, to say the least. While we were not able to share time with each other in person, let us celebrate all the accomplishments that our Cruisers have made while maintaining public health safety and social distancing.
Now that the year is over, please take time this summer to reflect, refresh, rejuvenate, and refocus with your child as we plan for next year. Also, please encourage your student to look for summer job opportunities to hone their skill set.
Also, we wanted to share with you information about important events coming up in the next few weeks at the high school.GMHS Summer School Information (June 15th - July 24th):
The District is offering an online digital summer school program for GMHS students. There is no cost to participate in our online digital summer school program, nor are there any supplies or materials to purchase. The only thing needed will be access to the Internet. Students will work from home or elsewhere using District-provided Chromebook computers. Students will have access to complete coursework 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They will complete their online lessons at their own pace, wherever and whenever they want. A teacher from the high school will monitor the student’s progress online and s/he will offer assistance to the students, as needed.
Please remind your student to sign up for summer school if it is needed to make up credits to stay on track for graduation. If you have any question, contact Mr. Ryan Grashel, the coordinator for Summer School at [email protected]
.Information for Households with Children Eligible for Free/Reduced-Price Meals:
Households with children eligible for free or reduced-price meals qualify for additional monetary assistance through the Electronic Benefit Transfer program (food stamps). Please check the email from Dr. Singh dated 6/4/2020 for flyers with detailed information. Final Grade Cards Available Through ProgressBook:
