Middle School Cheerleading

Middle School Cheerleaders
The Cruiser middle school cheer team comprises student-athletes from all three middle schools (MS Central, MS North, and MS South).

The team loves supporting Cruisers at both football and basketball games. They also represent the district at state-level competitions. As part of the cheer team, students learn several cheer techniques, but more importantly, they learn how to become leaders in the community. We strive to give our student-athletes opportunities to show their school spirit and represent the district and student body at charitable events.

CONDITIONING SCHEDULE
Both teams practice at GMHS. Coaches will provide the summer conditioning schedule at tryouts.

ELIGIBILITY AND TRYOUTS
Students in grades 7-8, who pass at least five of their classes in the 3rd nine weeks, are eligible to try out for the cheer team. Good behavior is also taken into consideration when selecting members for the team. Tryouts are for both football and basketball and take place in May. Schools will announce details about the tryouts in April.
