Essay Contest Winner

Ms. Bondy, Reagan Whitesel and Mrs. Rodich
 8th grader, Reagan Whitsel, has been awarded 5th place in the 2019 Laws of Life Essay Contest!  Her essay was chosen as a finalist out of over 2,500 essays written in our 21 county service areas.  Our 8th graders participated in this contest as a follow up to their classroom novel: Tuesdays with Morrie: and old man, a young man, and life's greatest lessons. 
 
On May 9, 2019, Reagan and her guests attended a banquet at the Wendy's Headquarters in Dublin to honor all the finalists for this year.  Reagan recieved a cash prize, a letter signed by teh Governor of Ohio and dinner!  It was a fun and exciting evening and we are very proud of her huge accomplishment.   

Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award Winners

Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award Winners
Groveport Madion Middle School Central students, Peyton Gibbs and Chelsea Carson, have been selected to recieve the Ohio High School Athletic Association's prestigious Archie Griffin Sportsmanship Award.  The award, named for two time Heisman Trophy winner Archie Griffin, is presented each year to a male and female student who have been outstanding in their efforts to promote sportsmanship in their school and community.  
 
This year's participants are also invited to a special dinner and recognition program at Dublin Jerome High School later this month.  This award, sponsored by the Ohio High School Athletic Association, is designed to promote sportsman ship, ethics and integrity.  Peyton and Chelsea have displayed the characteristics for which this award was designed.    

7th grade Girls Basketball Wins Title

7th grade Girls Basketball Wins Title The 7th grade girls basketball team recently one it's first title if almost 30 years.  The team finished 11-3 and won the Southwestern District 7th grade girls basketball tournament.
