Community Input Meetings

Community Input Meeting
In November, 2018, the District held community meetings to share information about the conditions of the buildings and the concerns regarding severe overcrowding. Three meetings were held throughout the District, taking place on Dec. 13, 14, and 15, with each taking place in one of the District's middle schools.

Approximately 60 unique participants attended over the course of the three evenings. After getting facts regarding the severely overcrowded conditions, the overall conditions of the schools, and the 53% in matching funds that are available from the State of Ohio, participants agreed that the elementary and middle schools should be replaced. They also worked through an excercise to identify their priorities to be considered when constructing new buildings that would be shared with the Facilities Planning Team.
