Urban Roots Partnership Promotes Immersive Learning Opportunities

We are excited to partner with The Ohio State University Extension via the Department of Food, Agriculture, and Environmental Sciences. Our 8th-grade students in second-semester Health (we will look to include semester one as well) will have the opportunity to grow their scientific basics and learn more about agriculture. The Urban Roots program states: "Eighth graders from the urban core of Franklin County will experience hands-on and immersive learning opportunities that focus on food, agriculture, the environment, and related technologies in their lives."
