Free One-on-One FAFSA Assistance Beginning May 16!

Recent changes in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form may make it more difficult for students to complete.

In particular, CCS students eligible for the Columbus Promise (where they can attend Columbus State for free) are struggling to do this. The Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) is partnering with I Know I Can to offer more opportunities for students to receive 1:1 assistance.
The Southeast Branch, located at 3980 S. Hamilton Road, is hosting an in-person FAFSA workshop this Thursday, May 16, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in our School Help Center. CML will also host three additional in-person sessions in May at various locations. I Know I Can will also host several virtual sessions on May 30, where they’ll meet individually over Zoom with students.
Visit to sign up for the sessions. Those without appointments will be helped, but scheduled students will be served first.
