Hybrid Week #2: The week went very smoothly and students are getting used to routines. Lunchtime is very different this year as students have assigned seats that are socially distanced with masks being permitted to be off while eating. Students are able to complete school work on their Chromebooks during their time in the cafeteria as well. We are directing students to leave their phones in book bags throughout the day, but if there is a legitimate reason to use them, they may request permission. Students have adapted very well to the new procedures and protocols. Thank you for supporting our efforts!
Chromebooks: Just a reminder that students are expected to charge Chromebooks at home and bring them to school for a full day’s use. We do not have loaners for students to use except for extraordinary circumstances. Students who bring Chromebooks that lose a charge will still be expected to complete assigned work.
Parent-Teacher Conferences: Conferences will be held on the evening of Thursday, November 5th from 3p to 8:30p. All conferences will be held virtually with your student’s team of teachers unless other arrangements are made. Spots are limited, so please sign up as soon as you can. Generally speaking, conferences are great opportunities to address concerns and issues students are having in classes. If you know your student is doing very well with no issues, do not feel obligated to sign up unless you have specific questions. Thank you in advance for signing up and participating!
ProgressBook: Please be sure to check your child’s grades and for any missing assignments on ProgressBook. This week, access codes were mailed to parents who have not yet utilized ProgressBook. If you need additional assistance, please call or email
No School November 3rd: There will be no school for students on Tuesday, November 3rd (election day). Please make sure to get out and vote!
Schedule requests: Requests to change from Cruiser Digital Academy to the hybrid model (and vice-versa) are no longer being accepted due to current student numbers and staffing limitations. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Have a great weekend!
