Program Information

What is Cross Country (XC)?
XC is a super fun sport with a close family-like team that run and train together over the summer and fall. Athletes will race in meets at a distance of 5km (3.1 miles)

When is Cross Country?
Conditioning takes place over the summer and mandatory practices begin August 1st. The seasons runs from August - November.

Where are Cross Country Practices?
Practices take place at Three Creeks Confluence trail and at the high school. Exact times will be given out during the interest meeting.

How can I join?
There are no tryouts for XC, if you want to join you may! First we will have an athlete/parent meeting on Thursday May 20th at 6pm. You need to attend the meeting (virtually) if you want to join the team.

Who can join?
Anyone that is an incoming 9th grader that has passed 5 classes in the 4th quarter, or any high school student who has a GPA at or above a 2.0.

Why should I join?
You should join because we are an awesome family and really have fun getting faster and stronger together. As well, we are looking to take an OCC title this upcoming season and would love to have you help us in that fight!
