VISION
The Groveport Madison School District Office of Safety and Security will strive to create a safe, orderly, and drug free environment that supports student academic achievement. We believe that the role of this Office is to develop a safety and security plan which promotes an environment where excellence in learning can occur. 

MISSION STATEMENT
The Department of School Safety and Security aligns and coordinates the Groveport Madison Local School District’s efforts to ensure and maintain a safe environment to maximize academic achievement and provide for the safety of our students, staff, visitors and physical assets. The District’s plan for having a safe school environment includes appropriate and effective policies, up to date security policies and procedures, prevention activities, student code of conduct, and a crisis management plan that involves coordination with local, state, and federal agencies.
