Middle School Central


The new Middle School Central will be 99,900 square-feet, and will house just over 700 5th-8th grade students. The current Middle School North will not be torn down, but will remain under district control.

The new building proposed will include the following:
  • General Education Classrooms

  • Middle School Science Labs

  • Teacher Prep / Workroom Spaces / Instructional Materials Storage

  • Small Group Instructional Support Spaces

  • Extended Learning Spaces

  • Self-Contained Special Needs Room and Support Spaces

  • Small Special Needs Rooms

  • Administrative and Guidance Offices

  • Media Center (Library) and Support Spaces

  • Art Rooms with Storage and Klin Rooms

  • Instrumental and Vocal Rooms

  • Production Lab and Storage

  • Middle School Competition Gym with Locker Rooms and Storage

  • Student Dining with Stage

  • Full-Service Kitchen

  • Custodial and Storage Spaces

  • Playfields

  • Parking

The new Middle School Central building will provide a dedicated space designed to meet the academic, creative, and extracurricular needs of students in grades 5-8. With specialized rooms for science, art, music, and hands-on learning, the facility will support a variety of instructional approaches. The inclusion of small group instructional areas and special needs spaces will allow for more individualized support, while the competition gym, playfields, and student dining area with a stage will enhance both athletic and social opportunities. Administrative, guidance, and teacher workspaces will help ensure efficient school operations and staff collaboration.
