Rick Cooper begins his 33rd season as a play-by-play announcer in 2024-2025 and his 13th behind the mic at Groveport Madison High School. Cooper has broadcasted 43 national championships at the collegiate level. 

Rick is a motivational speaker, having spoken at major conventions and events nationwide. Rick has interviewed Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jim Harbaugh, Phil Jackson, Clark Kellogg, A.C. Green, Randy Moss, Orel Hershiser, Mike Singletary, Bob Uecker, "Rudy" Ruetiger, Rick Pitino, and uses these experiences in sports to connect with students, men, and families uniquely.

When he's not behind the mic or on stage, Rick is a father to his three sons, residing with them in Groveport. This personal touch adds depth to his public persona, making him more relatable to his audience.
