We're talking about...

Teacher PD that GM Teachers Like and See Value in!

Teachers across the nation are pushing back hard against professional development that wastes their time with games and meaningless activities amounting to nothing more than going through the motions and talking about things that have little use in the classroom. Groveport Madison teachers participated in summer PD that, this year, is different and sets higher expectations for teacher PD that matters and teachers enjoy.

Amazing teachers participated in GM summer PD last month at the PLC at Work conference and the 2025 MagicSchool AI Champions Conference. We took a team of twenty-one, mostly teachers, to the PLC at Work conference and then hosted nearly eighty GM teachers in the BOE meeting room to learn great ways to use MagicSchool AI in their classrooms.

The PLC at Work teachers enthusiastically learned real strategies and approaches to bring together staff and instructional approaches throughout the district. They accepted the opportunity to bring back what they learned to the more than 400 GM teachers they represented. This year's convocation will feature these teachers and their voices. Below is a great example of the great feedback we've had from teachers who went with us to the conference.

Groveport Madison Students on the rise

Across our schools, there’s real momentum—and it’s showing up in our results. From stronger state test scores to a record-breaking state report card, students and staff are proving that hard work, collaboration, and high expectations pay off. Teachers are teaming up across buildings to align instruction and raise the bar for every learner. Principals are visiting classrooms more than ever to support instruction. And as we head into the 2024–2025 school year, we’re doubling down on what works—prioritizing academics, improving attendance, and making sure every student is seen, supported, and set up for success.
