Business Services

The Business Services Department of a public K–12 school district plays a crucial behind-the-scenes role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the district. Responsible for overseeing construction projects, managing vendor contracts, maintaining school facilities, and coordinating repairs and upkeep, this team ensures that every learning environment is safe and functional. They also manage transportation logistics so students can get to and from school reliably. In short, they provide the operational backbone that keeps the district running every day.

The Director of Business Services has oversight over the following areas:

• Contracts
• Custodial Services
• Energy Management
• Facilities
• Maintenance
• Purchasing
• Transportation

Additionally, the Business Services Office serves as the point of contact for all classified staff.
