Class of 2020 Graduation Information
As was stated last week, it looked unlikely we would be permitted to hold large-group, in-person graduation exercises this year. Unfortunately, that remains the situation today.

We have received guidance from both the Ohio Department of Health and the Franklin County Health Commissioner that state holding in-person, congregate graduation ceremonies cannot assure public safety and does not comply with state and local public health directives. We have looked at many options and believe we have created a plan to comply with the Governor and public health officials' directives - and still honor the graduation traditions in which most of us are familiar.

If your email address is on file with us, the details of this year's graduation plans will arrive in your email inbox very shortly. If you do not have an email on file, you can find this information on the high school's webpage, at Go Cruisers dot org, forward-slash Class of 2020.

We recognize that our seniors and their parents have made many sacrifices this year as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. While it's very difficult to set aside our emotions at what's been lost, it's essential to keep in mind these sacrifices also protect those we most love and cherish. And we are all vulnerable to either spreading or contracting the virus ourselves.

We're very proud of the Class of 2020, and we know our entire community joins us in celebrating their accomplishments. While none of us can fully make up for those losses, we have taken several steps to help make this year’s graduation a community-wide celebration of our students and their families.
