Peace Day Celebration

Happy International Day of Peace!

Every school year Glendening celebrates International Day of Peace. The official celebration usually happens worldwide on September 21st every year. At Glendening, students create a pinwheel in art class as part of the Pinwheels for Peace Project, and every student in the school puts their pinwheel outside to display for a day. Students then typically learn more about peace in their classrooms with their teachers.
