Groveport Madison is among the first area school districts to launch a new, more detailed COVID-19 Dashboard. The COVID-19 Analytics and Targeted Surveillance CATS data system has been designed to:
- Inform school and district leaders about emerging trends In COVID-19 cases In their districts, surrounding districts and county, and
- Inform students and parents about the rationale for decisions made regarding changes to learning modalities being used, for example, 100% online/remote classes, blended learning classes, or 100% in-person classes five days per week.
This additional data will provide important local data related to COVID and its impact on our school community. This project Is a joint partnership between Franklin County Public Health, Columbus Public Health, multiple school districts in Franklin County, the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, and The Ohio State University College of Public Health.
To maintain complete transparency, the District will continue to maintain our own COVID-19 dashboard so that our community can monitor the impact of COVID in our district and on schools in a format in which they're already familiar.
