Fifth graders on their SEED field trip

Fifth grade has traveled on their first field trip this year!  The fifth graders are taking their Science class to a local Metro Park.  During the day, students focused on identifying and classifying producers, consumers, and decomposers.  Students also spent time identifying different ecosystems. Fifth graders were also critter investigators and had to identify different animals based on data.  They spent time measuring, looking up information, and identifying characteristics of different animals. We ended our day by having a picnic, climbing trees, building a teepee, and having fun together!
