State Report Card

Groveport Madison Schools is committed to transparency and helping our community understand the state report card indicators and what they mean for our students and schools. Research shows that families engaged in their child’s education are critical predictors of a student’s development and success in school and life.

Active participation in a child’s learning requires accurate, data-driven information about the quality of education children receive. State report cards give parents, families, and communities a common framework of precise data for comprehending educational progress and success.

State report cards include a wide variety of school indicators, including measures of school quality, graduation rates, state testing results, absenteeism, and more. With such a large amount of data, state report cards seem daunting to navigate. Our Teaching and Learning Department directors created a video to help parents and families find vital information needed to understand our District’s state report card quickly and easily.
