Groveport Madison Schools invites families, staff and community members to attend the 2026 State of the Schools Celebration on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at Groveport Madison High School, 4475 S. Hamilton Road in Groveport. Doors will open at 6:15 p.m., welcoming guests for an evening that highlights the District’s progress and future direction.
The program will begin with a brief State of the Schools address from Superintendent Jamie Grube, who will reflect on the District’s accomplishments and outline key priorities moving forward. Following the presentation, attendees will be invited to explore interactive displays and demonstrations throughout the building that showcase the work of students, staff and community partners.
“This event is about more than a presentation,” said Superintendent Jamie Grube. “It’s a chance for our community to see firsthand the innovation, talent and partnerships that are shaping opportunities for our students. We are proud of the work happening across the district and excited to open our doors to share it.”
A highlight of the evening will be tours of the new Nationwide Children’s Hospital school-based health center, giving families an inside look at the expanded services now available to students and community members – right here on the high school’s campus. Franklin County Job & Family Services will also have its mobile services RV on site to connect families with important programs and resources, while the GMS Mobile Library will be on display outside with students providing guided tours and sharing how the mobile unit expands access to books and literacy opportunities across the district.
Inside the building, student talent and hands-on learning will be on full display. The annual crowd-pleaser is the student art show in the gymnasium showcasing artistic creativity from across the district. Construction Technology pathway students will provide live demonstrations of their developing skills, and art students will perform clay throwing demonstrations that showcase creativity and craftsmanship. Guests will also enjoy food prepared and served by the Culinary Arts students from Eastland-Fairfield Career Center, a consistently popular feature of the event and a testament to the professionalism of our career-technical partnerships.
The State of the Schools Celebration reflects Groveport Madison’s strong community partnerships and student-centered focus. Community members are encouraged to attend this cornerstone event and experience the many successes happening across Groveport Madison Schools.
