The 2025-2026 Ohio School Report Cards have been released, and Groveport Madison Schools has once again earned an overall rating of 3.5 stars. This year's report card is currently available on the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce's website.

We're proud to have maintained our 3.5-star overall rating while continuing to make meaningful progress in several key areas. This year's report card includes several bright spots that reflect the hard work of our students and staff. Our Progress component once again earned 4 stars, demonstrating our continued commitment to helping every student grow academically.

We're also encouraged by the stabilization of our Graduation Rate and an increase in our College, Career, Workforce and Military Readiness rating, highlighting the dedication of our students and staff to ensuring every Cruiser is prepared for success after high school. Although our Achievement component remained at 2 stars, the data tells an encouraging story. Our Performance Index has increased every year for the past five years, showing steady academic growth and moving us closer each year to reaching the 3-star benchmark. Those accomplishments didn't happen by accident. They're the result of our talented educators, hardworking students, and supportive families all working toward the same goal.

Of course, we always want to keep getting better. That's who we are. We're never satisfied with standing still, and we'll continue looking for ways to grow and improve for every student who walks through our doors. This year's report card also included changes to the Early Literacy component as a result of House Bill 96, and we'll continue reviewing how those changes impacted districts across Ohio as we look for opportunities to strengthen student achievement.

At the end of the day, a state report card is one measure of success, but it doesn't tell the whole story of our Cruisers. It doesn't capture the relationships our staff build with students, the opportunities available through the arts, athletics, career pathways, and extracurricular activities, or the countless moments that help shape confident young people. Those are the experiences that define Groveport Madison Schools and prepare our students not just for graduation, but for life beyond our classrooms.

We're proud of the progress we've made, excited about where we're headed, and grateful for the partnership we share with our families and community. Thank you for believing in Groveport Madison Schools and for being part of our journey as we continue striving to provide the very best education for every student.
