Groveport Madison Schools is excited to officially welcome three outstanding educational leaders to the Cruiser family ahead of the 2026-27 school year. Bobby Dodd, Jennifer Hutton and Dr. Donis Toler Jr. each bring a passion for supporting students, building strong relationships, and creating positive school communities where all students can be successful. With years of leadership experience and a shared commitment to student success, we are excited for the vision and leadership they will bring to our schools and community.
Bobby Dodd
Dodd brings extensive experience in educational leadership, operations and organizational management to the role of Director of Business Services at Groveport Madison. Previously, he served as principal of William Mason High School, one of the largest high schools in Ohio, where he was known for his innovative leadership, student centered approach and focus on building strong school communities. During his career, he has also worked as a leadership coach and educational consultant while supporting schools and administrators across the country.
In addition to his experience in education, Dodd has a background in law and organizational leadership, bringing valuable expertise in operations, contracts and strategic planning. He is valued for his collaborative leadership style, creative thinking and passion for supporting students and staff.
Jennifer Hutton
Jennifer Hutton believes strong schools are built through relationships and creating environments where students feel supported and connected. That philosophy has guided her throughout her career in education and now brings her to Groveport Madison Schools as the new principal of Middle School Central.
Hutton has more than 20 years of experience serving students and families in roles that include teacher, instructional leader, principal, and educational consultant. Most recently, she served as a principal in Columbus City Schools, where she focused on building positive school culture, supporting student growth and strengthening collaboration among staff and families. Hutton has also worked with the Ohio Department of Education supporting educators and school districts across the state. She holds degrees in elementary education, English, and educational administration.
Dr. Donis Toler Jr.
After spending more than two decades working in education and educational leadership, Dr. Donis Toler Jr. is returning to a familiar place as the next principal of Groveport Madison High School. Dr. Toler previously worked at Groveport Madison earlier in his career and now returns to GMHS after serving as principal of Independence High School in Columbus City Schools. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing strong relationships with students, staff and families while helping create positive and supportive school cultures focused on student success.
Dr. Toler also serves as an adjunct faculty member and doctoral advisor at Franklin University. He earned his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Walden University, his master’s degree from The Ohio State University, and his bachelor’s degree from Denison University.
As we look ahead to the new school year, Groveport Madison Schools is excited for the leadership experience these three administrators will bring to our district. We are proud to welcome Bobby Dodd, Jennifer Hutton and Dr. Donis Toler Jr. to the Cruiser family and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our families and staff.
