Groveport Madison Human Needs is helping students start the new school year with confidence by hosting its annual School Supply Distribution on Sunday, Aug. 2, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Middle School North.

Students will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies, thanks to the generosity of NBC4, local churches, businesses, and community volunteers. Community churches have also adopted grade levels to help provide additional school supplies and other requested items to help students prepare for a successful school year.

In addition, the Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools Cosmetology Program, along with its business partners, will be on-site providing free haircuts to help students look and feel their best as they head back to class. Please note that proof of residency within the Groveport Madison Local School District will be required for entry to the event.

This event is a wonderful example of our community coming together to support Groveport Madison students and families. We are grateful to Groveport Madison Human Needs and all of the organizations and volunteers who make this annual tradition possible.
