The district understands and recognizes the importance of before- and after-school programs and has continued to evaluate our current programming to best meet the needs of our community. After much thought and discussion, we have decided to make a change as we move into the 2026-27 school year and will no longer be operating an internal program.

We are excited to announce a partnership with Right At School, a nationally recognized school enrichment provider, for before- and after-school care for students in kindergarten through fifth grade at all elementary buildings beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. 

For families who wish to participate, the program will be available from 6:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. every day school is in session. Families can work with Right At School to create flexible monthly schedules by choosing 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 days per week. Drop-in care and punch cards are also available, and Right At School will be available during breaks, non-school days, and summer.

Right At School provides a comprehensive enrichment curriculum to keep students engaged. Students will have a healthy snack, engage in fitness activities, participate in student-driven projects, build teamwork and leadership skills, and have the opportunity to complete homework. 

The program also features two-week enrichment units. Examples include State of the Art, where students explore today’s biggest names in art for inspiration and create paintings, sculptures, and the like; Right Club Castaways, where students use outdoor survival skills, including shelter-building, tool-making, and harnessing Mother Nature’s power to become outdoor adventurers; and Variety Show, where students experience the elements of putting on a polished performance, like rehearsing, marketing, becoming an emcee, and performing on stage for a memorable night with family and friends.
