Ashley Zimmer

Term of office:  Jan. 1, 2026 – Dec. 31, 2029

I’m a proud parent of two kids who attend schools in our district, including one child with special needs. Being a parent first has shaped everything about how I show up for our schools and our community. I believe every child deserves the support, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.

I’m very involved in my children’s schools and volunteer whenever I can. I work closely with administrators at Dunloe Elementary School, where my daughter currently attends. During the 2024–2025 school year, I helped establish the Parent Teacher Association at Dunloe Elementary. What started as an idea has grown into a thriving association that was able to donate funds for new equipment for our elementary schools’ Field Days.

Outside the classroom, you’ll often find me on a soccer field. I’ve volunteered as a soccer coach for both of my kids and currently coach my son’s team. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life—I’ve been playing since I was three years old and continued through my early twenties.

My husband and I have been together for nearly 15 years, and we’re raising our two amazing kids (plus two very energetic dogs) in a house that’s usually loud, busy, and full of love. I’m grateful for the trust our voters have placed in me, and I’m committed to continuing to improve our district while keeping our kids at the heart of every decision.
