About Groveport Madison Schools

Groveport Madison Schools was established in 1845. It serves the needs of approximately 6,300 Pre-K through 12th grade students in 11 schools. Located in the southeast portion of Franklin County, the District covers 40 sq. miles, including the City of Groveport and Madison Township, as well as portions of Columbus, Obetz, Canal Winchester, and Reynoldsburg. Groveport Madison Schools is under the leadership of Superintendent Jamie Grube and a five-member board of education.

Buildings and Programs

Groveport Madison Schools has one traditional high school (grades 9-12), three middle schools (grades 6-8), and six elementary buildings (grades K-5), a full-day, five-days-per-week kindergarten program, and a half-day, five-days-per-week Pre-K program for students with special needs and their peer models.

Groveport Madison Schools juniors and seniors may elect to participate in career-technical programs offered by Eastland-Fairfield Career and Technical Schools.

The District also offers an Extended Day Program (before- and after-school care) for elementary-age students. The Extended Day Program (EDP) is available to all elementary-age students and is located at Glendening and Sedalia Elementary Schools.

Lil' Cruiser Campus Preschool:  AM Classes:  9:00 - 11:00 a.m;  PM Classes:  1:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Elementary Schools:  9:15 a.m. - 3:40 p.m.

Middle Schools:  8:15 a.m - 2:40 p.m.

High School:  7:15 - 1:45 p.m.
