COVID-19 Dashboard

Keeping you informed and being transparent in how COVID-19 is impacting the District and our schools is very important to us. To accomplish this goal we've established the following COVID-19 dashboard for Groveport Madison Schools. The dashboard captures daily, confirmed COVID-19 reports for students and staff, including whether the student is taking classes on-site or remotely. Based upon public health guidelines, the case is considered to be "active" for 14 days after the initial report to the District. 

The District complies with all requirements for reporting any confirmed diagnosis to Franklin County Public Health, as well as individual health privacy laws as defined under HIPAA.

CATS Reporting Data

The CATS data system for schools is a collaborative project between Franklin County Public Health, Columbus Public Health, multiple school districts in Franklin County, the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio, and The Ohio State University College of Public Health. The system is designed to:

  • Inform school and district leaders about emerging trends In COVID-19 cases In their districts, surrounding districts and county, and
  • Inform students and parents about the rationale for decisions made regarding changes to learning modalities during the school year (e.g., online, in-person, or hybrid).

This additional data will provide important local data related to COVID and its impact on our school community.
