Opioid Forum Being Held on Tues., Apr. 24
Opioid Forum InformationShould you know more about the opioid epidemic that’s impacting our community? The newly-formed Groveport Madison Opiate Task Force is bringing a series of information sessions to our community to help our residents and employers better understand this epidemic and the state-wide, regional and local resources that are available to help individuals and families impacted by this serious issue.

Join us on Tuesday, April 24, from 7-9 PM, at Groveport Madison High School, 4475 S. Hamilton Road, Groveport for our first session entitled, “The Voices of Groveport Madison: A Community Response to the Opioid Epidemic.” We will have information regarding the state of the epidemic in our area and across central Ohio, as well as prevention and early warning signs. Police and fire officials will share how they’re responding to opiate crisis situations, and there will be a panel discussion that includes individuals and families that have been personally impacted by opiate addiction. More than 25 support groups, church representatives, and other organizations will be on hand to provide information to anyone interested. The event is free and everyone is welcome to attend.
