GMHS Students Vote on Lunch Items
Student Choice

Chartwells K12, the District's food services provider, has launched a program to get our high school students' input into what they want to see on the lunch menus. Chartwell's "Student Choice" program encourages students to try a free sample of two different selections (this week it was marsala chicken wings from Chaat House, versus a chicken eggroll from Bok Choy). Once the students determine which sample they like best, they record their preference on a nearby computer or using a paper ballot. This week's winner was . . . the chicken eggroll, capturing 76% of the vote! The Bok Choy chicken egg roll will now be added to the student's lunch menu.

We also will be launching the program at the elementary and middle schools in the very near future.
