MSN Student Recognized for ACT Success
Olivia Moye-Isaly was recognized by the Ohio Association for Gifted Children (OAGC) for earning a high score on the ACT test. Olivia, who is an eighth-grader in the gifted program at Middle School North, took the test last year through the Northwestern University's Midwest Academic Talent Search (NUMATS). The program allows students to take internationally recognized tests like the ACT, SAT and PSAT at younger ages than traditionally offered.

During the recent OAGC conference, Olivia was awarded with a certificate for being among the 188 Ohio students in her grade level who scored in the top five percent of students taking the ACT. She was very excited by the award, said her mother, Tina Isaly, a speech pathologist at Dunloe Elementary School. “Taking the test has helped her know what to expect when she takes it again and what areas she needs to focus on,” she said. “It was a good experience for her and she was pleased with the results.”
