From Mr. Alton, Run Club advisor: We've been going outside every Tuesday and Wednesday and the kids are really starting to get in shape. We begin with a warm up lap and dynamic stretching exercises like high knees and lunges. Then we do some light long distance running to build up stamina and endurance. This week I brought in batons and we had relay races out on the track. The kids are really starting to get the hang of it and they're having fun going out and relieving some stress during the school day.
