Traffic and Parking Plans for High School Events

When you're coming to support the Cruisers at their fall activities, please note there are three parking lots that will be used for event parking . Visitors can use the north parking lot and west parking lot; with both having handicap parking availability.  While lined as a bus drop-off zone during the school days, the south lot can also be used for event parking. Click here for the GMHS Event Parking Map.

Get Info on Opiate Crisis at "Operation Street Smart" on June 26th

Don't miss the next program sponsored by the Groveport Madison Opiate Task Force, on Tuesday, June 26, at 7 PM. "Operation Street Smart" will provide participants with up-to-date information on narcotics, the trends, terminology, paraphernalia, and concealment techniques, as well as the physiological effects to individuals and families impacted by opiate addiction. The program is delivered by current/former undercover narcotics detectives from the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. The program takes place at Madison Christian Church, 3565 Bixby Road, Groveport.

Don't Forget You Child's Medications!

Parents of students who have medication stored at their child’s school are reminded to pick up all meds no later than 2 p.m., on Thursday, May 24. Medications should be picked up in the school’s health clinic. A parent or guardian must pick up the medications, as medications are not permitted to be sent home with the student. Any medications left at school after the deadline will be disposed of according to District policy. Should you have any questions or concerns, please call your child’s school to speak to the school nurse.

Opioid Forum Being Held on Tues., Apr. 24

Should you know more about the opioid epidemic that’s impacting our community? The newly-formed Groveport Madison Opiate Task Force is bringing a series of information sessions to our community to help our residents and employers better understand this epidemic and the state-wide, regional and local resources that are available to help individuals and families impacted by this serious issue.

Join us on Tuesday, April 24, from 7-9 PM, at Groveport Madison High School, 4475 S. Hamilton Road, Groveport for our first session entitled, “The Voices of Groveport Madison: A Community Response to the Opioid Epidemic.”

Calling All Runners

The Groveport Madison Cross Country team would like to invite students entering grades 4 through 6 to join our Varsity Athletes and Coaches at the Groveport Madison Cross Country Running Camp. The camp will be held from 5-6:00 p.m. at the Three Creeks Metro Park, 3860 Bixby Rd, Groveport, OH, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from August 7-30. Campers will have fun while learning to identify themselves as runners. Each camp session will have the camper paired up with a Varsity athlete who will lead them through running games, workouts, and proper stretching techniques. All campers will need to arrive by 5 PM to each session and have running clothes, shoes, and water with them. Campers will learn what it means to be a distance runner and a supportive teammate! Camp T-shirts will be included with the cost of the camp
