ProgressBook is a secure, online system that tracks your child’s classroom assignments, grades, attendance, and assessment results, providing you with a clear picture of your child’s overall academic performance. If you are not already using ProgressBook, you should definitely do so, as the District will be changing how interim reports will be issued in the upcoming year for K-8 students, and beginning January 2018 for high school students. [...click for more]

Come learn more about College Credit Plus at one of our GMLSD CCP nights! Attendance at one of these events is mandatory for those interested in taking a CCP class.

After more than a decade of teaching English at Groveport Madison Schools, Brooke Incorvaia decided to put her master’s in educational administration to work by becoming a school improvement coordinator at Middle School North.

Incorvaia, who joined the District in 2005, most recently taught at the high school. She pursued the school improvement coordinator role because she liked the idea of helping students by supporting their teachers. “This job allows me to help staff and students interact,” she said. “I can offer teachers innovative methods to help improve their lessons.”

Katie Van Schoyck began this year with a promotion – as the new school improvement coordinator at Middle School Central. Van Schoyck, who has taught at Asbury and Sedalia Elementary Schools, said the role appealed to her because it allows her to be “a problem solver” for students and teachers. “I really want to help teachers streamline their efforts and build relationships with our students,” said Van Schoyck, who received her principal licensure and master’s degree in May from The Ohio State University. [...click for more]
