GMHS Committees
1. Attendance: committee organized to improve student attendance.
2. BLT (Building Leadership Team): this committee is comprised of Administration, teachers, parents, and community members to address concerns, provide leadership, and make data based decisions that positively impact the culture and climate of the school.
3. Building Appearance: outdoor/indoor committee to improve the facilities of GMHS; organize potential Hall of Fame.
4. Discipline: contractual committee to review any discipline issues /concerns that pertain to GMHS.
5. PBS (Positive Behavior Support): committee to create support systems and interventions that will enhance and improve student’s social behavior while reducing any problematic behavior they may use.
6. Public Relations: communicate building successes to the community and public. This committee is also responsible for the Student/Staff Recognition. They regularly plan and recognize both the students and staff accomplishments
7. Student Activity Period: coordinate efforts to have monthly teacher led activities for students.
