Renaissance is a nationwide program that was developed to assist schools in motivating and encouraging students by recognizing and rewarding them for their academic achievements, good attendance and positive behavior (Pillars of Character). Students that meet the requirements by the end of the 2^nd and 4^th grading periods will receive a Renaissance wrist band that indicates by color the requirement(s) they have met. This wrist band is an invitation to an afternoon assembly consisting of music, relay games, prizes and more.

Renaissance Requirements

GOLD band 
– All A’s 
– No office referrals and Follows the Pillars of Character

SILVER band 
– All A’s and B’s 
– No office referrals and Follows the Pillars of Character

RED band 
– All A’s, B’s and/or C’s 
– No office referrals and Follows the Pillars of Character

BLACK band 
– Perfect Attendance (1^st Semester and/or 2^nd Semester)  
– No office referrals and Follows the Pillars of Character

WHITE band 
– Positive Behavior (Teacher’s Choice)  
– No office referrals and Follows the Pillars of Characters

Respect- Treat others with respect; follow the Golden Rule • be tolerant of differences • Use good manners, does not use bad language • be considerate of the feelings of others • doesn’t threaten, hit or hurt anyone • Deals peacefully with anger, insults and disagreements
