DAILY 5 & CAFE!!!!!!
Daily 5 & Cafe teacher study groups will begin the week of September 12th. Daily 5 meetings will be on Tuesday and Cafe will be Wednesday from 8:15 - 8:45. Please see me if you need a book or if you are interested in discussing these books and the implementation in your classroom and with your students.
BOOK IT PROGRAM!
The book it materials should arrive by the end of September. Book it begins in October and runs through March. I will be working with PTO this year to possibly bring back the FREE book incentive for kids who meet thier monthly reading goals.
Student Publishing Project NEWS
The publishing materials are here! We will have 2 press dates this year.
Grades 3-5 will be finished with their projects BEFORE christmas break. This will allow for no extra projects before OAA testing.
Grades K-2 will have their press date in the Spring, as to allow for more time to grow as writers. We will have our school wide publishing night in late Spring.
I will distribute materials in a few weeks.
