The Personnel Department in the Groveport Madison Schools is responsible for the hiring of all certificated and classified personnel in the district.  All employee personnel records are kept by the Department.
The Deputy Superintendent oversees the recruitment and selection process for all licensure areas including teachers and administrators.  Teaching applicants go through a screening process and then candidates are selected to interview with the building administrator.  The Department also oversees all areas of licensure and the highly qualified teacher requirements.  The Deputy Superintendent co-chairs the Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) and oversees Individual Professional Development Plans (IPDPs) to assure staff meets all licensure requirements.
The Department is also responsible for the recruitment and hiring of all classified personnel including educational aides, custodians, secretaries, cooks and maintenance people.  Applicants are screened by the Director and candidates are sent to the building administrator for final selection process.
