The boys varsity soccer team opened up the season with a 6-0
win over Canal Winchester.

Varsity volleyball starts the season off with a 3-1 win over Briggs

The varsity girls scoocerteam earns their first victory of the season with a 3-2 win over visiting Central Crossing.

The freshmen football team hosted Westerville North and posted a 22-6 victory.

The varsity Cruiser football team traveled to Westerville North and found themselves in a defensive struggle against the Warriors. The Cruisers finally came out on top 29-22 to remain undefeated (2-0). The Cruisers travel to Dublin Jerome this Friday.

Girls Soccer game postponed to Sat 10-2-10 at Noon - Location - Cruiser Stadium.
Boys Soccer earns ther first OCC victory over Grove City by a score of 4-0. Willie
Bayemi scored three goals with Ryan Jones scoring one. This runs their record to 2-1-1. This is Coach Scotts first win ever over the Greyhounds.
Girls Volleyball hosted Newark and lost in three games but continue to build for the future of the program with a core of young athletes at the varsity level.

Football Food Drive September 17 vs Pickerington North at Cruiser Stadium 7:30
Please bring in can food items to help the local food pantry, a truck will be parked in front of the stadium. This is a great way to help the community. Please make this event a success!

Fall Student-Athlete Orientation 8-12-10
Fall orientation will be Thursday Aug 12 at 6:00 in the High School Cafe.
All Fall athletes and their parents/guardians must attend this meeting.

GMHS Cheerleaders Attend UCA Camp
On July 23rd-26th the GMHS Cheerleaders attended a summer camp at The Ohio Northern University, sponsored by UCA (Universal Cheerleading Association). Team divisions competed the final day for “Camp Champions” in both Cheer & Dance. The GMHS Varsity squad brought home the Champion Trophy for Cheer in their division and runner-up in Dance. The JV squad brought home the Champion trophy for Dance in their division.
GMHS also won the ‘Jump-Off’ contest in both divisions. Varsity winner was Asadia Latouche and JV winner was Champagne Moss.
Four GMHS Cheerleaders were named “All-American”. They had to perform one jump, and a cheer and dance taught by the UCA staff. Winners were Jamie Gadrim, Kaitlyn Blaies, Jasmine English and Jessica Blaies.
Congratulations ladies on all your amazing accomplishments. Best of luck this upcoming season!
