The casts and crews of the Cruiser Theater Company welcome you to the 2011-2012 school year and the beginning of a new era.
Morgan Mulgrew is the new director of the Cruiser Theater Company. She is an Ohio University graduate (2008) with a Bachelor's in 7-12 Integrated Language Arts Education.She has over ten years of theater experience, but this is her first time as director for a public school system. Most of her experience is in children's theater. She teaches Speech and Theater I and II at GMHS. Ms. Mulgrew's comment about coming to GMHS to begin a new career, "I'm very excited for this new and exciting experience!"
Her first fall production will be The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The first part of the show is a campfire tales adaptation. Over seventy people auditioned for the show. The first rehearsal and introduction of the cast was held Monday, September 26 immediately after school. Rehearsals will be Monday through Friday from 2:30 until 4:30 every week.
